Can being unwell with flu/cold etc make your discharge smell

I know I don't have BV or thrush and I don't have any symptoms. But since I've been unwell, my discharge has this really bad smell.

The only explanation I can think is that because I've got an infection in my body it's affected my discharge.

Or am I wrong, does this happen to anyone else.

I've been showering like normal, using the same body wash as before, I just can't seem to get this smell to go 😅
