For moms who had multiple births.. When giving birth, what would you prefer to do??

I'm going to have my third drug free birth any day. I can't see myself ever wanting an epidural

Had an epidural with my first, and not with my second. I personally won't get an epidural again. I wouldn't suggest going without an epidural to someone who doesn't learn coping methods though because it's hard to handle if you don't know how.

I had an epidural with my second before they broke my water and I had almost a totally pain free induction. My water was broken at 2 am and 5 am baby was born. Easiest labor ever. No regrets and baby was alert and totally fine.

4 natural deliveries for me.  I was doing anything possible to avoid a C-section which meant avoiding interventions of any sort

I’ve only ever had an epidural and I got it both times super early on. With my 3rd I really want to try and go natural.

My first birth was an induction with bad back labor and a failed epidural. So I opted to not risk being trapped in bed again should I be unfortunate enough to have back labor a second time and went unmedicated for baby #2. Best decision ever, the pain was only a fraction of what I experienced with my first.

I was induced with my first, had the epidural and ended up having a c-section. Second was an unmedicated VBAC and I'm still upset that I wasn't able to get the epidural (baby was born 25 minutes after getting to the hospital).

Two med free home births and my third was an (unfortunate, IMO) in-hospital induction with AROM followed by pitocin. No pain meds though. It was brutal. The med-free births had their difficulties (mostly my first), but nothing compared to my third birth. But I wanted to avoid all interventions as much as possible. Came quite close to talking about pain med options though. He was born less than an hour after I started weighing the options in my mind though.
