Time is flying by!

Woohoo, we made it this far!

I just felt like sharing my thoughts since I have 2 weeks to my due date.

I have to say, personally, I never thought I would make it this far. This is my first pregnancy and I feel so very blessed and humbled to have had the experience and journey I have had.

My mom had some miscarriages, some complications with some pregnancies, and had all of her kids early so I always thought I was going to have similar situations with my own pregnancy. I just expected it would all happen to me.

I am very happily surprised to say that I have had a TOTALLY different experience than my mom had with all of her kids.

I actually made it to full term, which is huge!

I just feel so truly blessed!

Not only am I very happy with my experience with this pregnancy, but I am so happy I get to go through and share all of this with my husband. The man I have known since we were 5 years old. The boy next door. The boy that would play footsie with me in the 4th grade and would give me googly eyes from across our desks that faced each other. Looking back, I would have never guessed our lives would have fallen the way it did. But I'm so glad it did! We have been together for over 7 years now, married for almost 4 years and just bought our first home together this summer. Now we will be welcoming our first child, a daughter 💜

Being so close to actually meeting her, it has really made me step back and appreciate my life and how everything happened. All the bullshit, the drama, and all the positive things. It made me into who I am today, and who I am about to become to this precious little girl. I am a very proud wife to a wonderful man and a very proud mama to be to such a sweet beautiful little girl 💜 🥂
