NIPT accuracy ?

how accurate was your NIPT results ? I want to get it done since im 11 weeks now and don't feel like I can wait till the scan to really know but also don't want to get excited over what could be a false gender 😭 .
help 😢 .

Nipt is 99.6-99.8% accurate. However sometimes gender isnt covered by insurance so you might have to pay out of pocket. Id highly suggest just waiting for the scan

I got mine done at 11 weeks and it came back with “not enough fetal dna” there’s a bunch of variations such as your BMI, how far along your are and much more. I’m currently 14 weeks and have to have a  re draw.

Mine was correct! I had blood drawn at 10 weeks.
