I think my boyfriend is cutting again

My boyfriend suffers from bipolar. He also has a past of self harming. He's been clean for 3 years. His dad passed away too weeks ago on my boyfriend's 23rd birthday. He went to the funeral yesterday and for the past week my boyfriend has been wearing long sleeves. Won't have sex with me or let me shower with him or even let me see him naked. I don't want to push because he gets so embarrassed and ashamed whenever he gets caught self harming but I also don't want him to keep doing it because he almost died the last time. He hasn't see his therapist since his dad's funeral.
