Ranting sess

Sooo because thanksgiving is coming up I invited my MIL. She has an iPhone, and her read receipts on… she read the text and didn’t respond. My child’s cousins live in a town away however you have to pass my house to get to theirs because I live on a Main Street. She posted pictures of my child’s oldest cousin. Why do I get so annoying with her ? Like she doesn’t seem to want to put effort in to see my child. She texted my significant other saying we should all put more effort in but she herself doesn’t put any in. It’s funny she texted my SO that but when I texted her saying I wish she could see my child more she didn’t have much to say but now oh we need to put effort in ? I know she’s had the older cousin in her life longer ( not that, that should matter ) but I just don’t get why my child is written off. She is in no way responsible to take care of my child and doesn’t have an obligation to see her. It’s just frustrating that she can PASS my house to go see her other grandchildren.
