Sleep regression??

Is anyone’s one year old going through another sleep regression? Our son turned 1 at the very end of September and has slept amazingly over the past few months. Our typical routine is bath time, pjs, sippy cup of milk and lay him down in his crib. He sometimes cries after he finishes his milk but goes right to sleep.

Since Friday though, it’s been a different story. We do everything the same but as soon as we lay him in his crib he cries/screams. We then hold/rock him to sleep and he either wakes up as soon as we lay him in his crib or he wakes up between 10-11 crying/screaming and only wants to be held. He hasn’t slept in our bed in months and since Friday he has been and has slept just fine. Even for his nap time this weekend he wouldn’t let me put him down in his crib so I could get things done.

Could this be teething? Something else? I just hope it’s not another ear infection 🥴
