how many people allowed in hospital ?

i’m in pennsylvania idk how the restrictions are with labor will my child’s father be able to stay in the hospital with me ? would my dad or his mom be able to come ?

My local hospitals only allow 1 support person over 18 and no switching out either.

I'm in PA and when I had my daughter in December I was only allowed 1 person and they couldn't leave the entire time. idk if it's still like that

I’m in Washington and we’re allowed 2 and they can be switched out.

You have to call your specific hospital labor and delivery to find out the rules. Everywhere is different. My hospital visitation rules are different from labor and delivery/ mother baby.  When I was on labor and delivery I was allowed 1 support person and a doula if I chose one. The support person was free to come and go as they pleased as long as they kept the support person band on at all times. Once I was moved to mother baby I was allowed 1 visitor at a time who could show proof of being fully vaccinated plus your support person.

I had my baby in May in ME and i was able to have 2 support people during my entire labor but one had to leave before i got moved to a mother & baby room
