Periods after Nexplanon removal

Hey guys! First time poster here! Does anyone have any advice/insights on having a period after nexplanon removal? I did not have a cycle with nexplanon and was on it for 8 years. I had it removed in May and have only had 1 period since then which was in September. I have seen my doc and he put me on hormones a couple of times, once before my period and once after. He advised me to come back to see him if I didn’t have a cycle after my second round of hormones and my appt is next week. Just wanted to see if any other ladies were experiencing anything like this.
