Had anyone ever experienced?

My periods are very regular. My cycle last 26 days every month. My period is a week late but im getting negative tests, has this happened to anyone and later on got a positive?

Answer

Your cycle cam and does change throughout your life. There are so many things that can delay a period; birth control, excessive exercise, diet change, stress, illness, hormone imbalance, late ovulation, weight loss/gain. 
You can actually be about 10 days late I think and that's still considered a normal cycle. 
Of course you could of ovulated late, still be pregnant, but just to early to be getting a positive test. Perhaps a trip to the doctors would put your mind at ease.
