Induction ….

Hello I was wondering if someone had gone in to be induced and was already 3cm dilated , what did they do ? ….

I’ve been induced twice before but went in and i hadn’t dilated at all , so i had 2 propess inserted for 48h (24h each) and then the stronger tablets inserted for 6 hours then had to wait for a room in labour ward then they broke my waters .

If i’m going in this time 3cm dilated and only 1cm long ( not sure how much efaced as they haven’t told me ) will i have to go through those steps again ? She told me that my cervix is really favourable also . I’ve had 2 sweeps already first one I was 3cm dilated ( well said she could stretch it to a 3 ) and 1.5cm long then second sweep still 3cm ( but she said it was a good 3cm ) and 1cm long . Have another sweep Monday.

Currently 39 weeks today , they won’t let me go over due date due to health risks and being high risk , both previous babies born at 38 weeks . I’m hoping she’ll come on her own this upcoming week but I don’t think so 🙈 So slowly putting in my mind i’ll be started off again .

Just wondering if someone has been in the same boat really and was it the same steps if you’re a 3cm …
