My son he's 1 month old an he started to get that neck rash so I try to keep it dry it stink too so I added some aquaphor healing ointment the first time to try it out on his neck to go away but how do you know it's working? This my first time putting something on his skin since he was born.  Any help would be appreciated, his 1 month appt coming up.

Your best bet is to try your best to keep it clean and dry. You could try using a bit of diaper cream to see if it helps keep the moisture out. Other than that talk to the Dr to make sure it's not a yeast infection.

He may have an allergy to something. My nephew would get the same thing on his neck and leg creases and turns out he was allergic to peanuts/egg/dairy. My sister had no idea and she was consuming all those things and breastfeeding

You have to always make sure its clean. My LO had these few weeks back, doctor advised to make sure baby is always taking a bath and given moisturizer 3-4 times a day. He prescribed some steriod cream since it was itchy just a few days. My moisturizer was mustella stelatopia.

Clean it really well and make sure it's completely dry and then put desitin diaper cream on it! Make sure it's clean and dry all the time and keep desitin on it after you clean and dry it! If it doesn't go away in a few days call your pediatrician!
