How does a transfer only cycle go?

Tomorrow is my first beta and it's going to be negative. I got my period yesterday. 😢 We have one more blast on ice so I'm wondering how that works? How long does it take until I can do the next transfer? Do I go back on birth control or is there other medicine?

Maybe you want to examine first why your transfer failed/do some more tests and prepare before you transfer? Otherwise, you could go into the next cycle right away.

I’m so sorry your transfer failed. There are many different transfer protocols so it will depend on what your doctor recommends. My frozen transfer protocol was 6 weeks. I was on birth control for 3 weeks, then lupron daily for 2.5 weeks and had several hcg trigger shots prior to and after transfer in addition to starting progesterone in oil 5 days before transfer. I’ve heard of many people with much simpler protocols though.
