Venmo concern/question

I’ve only used Venmo for a few weeks, and have only received money from another Venmoer, never sent. I have a Venmo balance, and it was enough to cover the payment I made via Venmo for Christmas photos I had done, but my balance is not reflecting these payments being Mae, as in, my balance has not changed. It shows the payments were sent, as they are in red with the negative sign, so I was confused why my balance has remained the same?
