Am I the asshole?...

So for 5 yrs I've been with my boyfriend over the last two he's resorted to name calling, putting me down, choosing to hang with his boys more than anything with me ...list goes on. And I've told him over and over again I will only handle this for a little bit then I'll be over it he kept saying he'd change but never tried.last week he got full on and ruined my excitement over getting my own phone as normally I get hand me downs from my sister this caused me to go to my sisters for a week.im back at home now and finally he is trying to treat me better but I feel empty like I don't give a shit anymore....
