Dating someone younger

Hi everyone I’m 28 and this guy I met is 23, when we met I immediately asked his age because he looked young when he said his age I was so shocked, he asked mine and hits me with “that’s not a huge difference” I even told him I have a kid & he replys “that’s fine” decided to give him a chance.. it’s been a month since dating he’s amazing and we’re really enjoying our time together, I’ve never dated anyone this young. Always been around my age.

Is it too soon to ask him what his intentions are? I guess getting more personal what we’re doing? I’m not sure if this is too soon???

(We also haven’t done anything sexual)
