How to handle a toddler that constantly interrupts sex...?

So, my 3.5 year old still wakes periodically at night. Usually around every 3 hours but sometimes more. He has a white noise machine, a fan, but no matter how quiet we are, if we’re up doing anything, he wakes up. His room is even across the whole house as our bedroom, but literally every time we have sex, he comes pounding on the door crying. I don’t know how he knows. We’re not screaming or moaning. We’re as quiet as can be. But it’s every damn time! We are getting so frustrated we get like zero alone time. Any tips or advice?

I think the actual issue is still he’s still waking multiple times a night and not resettling on his own 😵. It’s obviously a coincidence as there’s no way he could know if you are quiet and he has a white noise machine…

Sleep train omg not even for sex but for your sleep and sanity. There’s no reason he needs to wake overnight so many times. Or at least do one of those colored lights you set by timer in his room so if he wakes and it’s not turned green yet he knows he’s got to stay in bed. Can’t be roaming the house or coming to be put back down that often.

EVERY. DAAMMMMMNNN. TIME. my husband and I try to have sex, there is the inevitable knock at our door. Or rather the pounding and "what are you doing!!?? We want to come in!". We laugh because what else can you do, my husband or I tell them were changing and will be out in a minute, we finish... and bam. Sexy time. Albeit rushed and not one bit romantic... we all have needs. Dont judge me lol🤣
