Baby came early

A little late to post but i just now found this group lol. My beautiful boy made his appearance a week early totally unexpected. We went in to our regular checkup to find out i had hbp. Immediately they sent me over to labor and delivery and told me i had the option of staying to have a baby or going home and waiting. They told me the risks so i decided to stay and get induced. (Which i was glad i did) once they put me in the room they started me on pitocin and decided to check my cervix and i was 5cm dilated!! I felt nothing so they kept adding more and more pitocin. My doctor kept coming in to check on me and would ask if i was sure i felt nothing because my contractions were going crazy. Two hours go by still no pain. All of sudden the nurses start rushing in to tell them to turn off the pitocin because my contractions were coming in back to back. Next thing i know i felt sooo much pain i didnt think i was going to make it so i asked for the epidural (biggest regret) as they were giving me the epidural i was in so much pain and was feeling such an urge to push but it was too late to go back. Once they finished she told me to lie down that she was going to check my cervix again. When she did i was fully fully dialated and my water broke right away. Shortly after my baby arrived to this world so quick it didnt even let the epidural kick in. I felt it all. After i delivered. I could not move my legs because of the numbness that kicked in after i had him. Next pregnancy for sure not getting the epidural lol. But atleast i have my beautiful boy with me now. Ps i couldnt find a picture my man would approve with him in so heres this one of me😂😂
