Miscarriage tissue testing (multiple losses)

Has anyone had miscarriage tissue tested? Did you collect it at home or did you have a d&c to collect it? Can it tell you where the issue lies? I’ve had so many losses and thought it was my fault, but research is showing sperm may be equally a factor in early losses.

History; my man has been tested multiple times and his guys had some slight shape abnormalities but they were EXTREMELY plentiful and good swimmers. The 3 infertility clinics all day his guys are good.

I have had 6 chemicals and an ectopic which resulted in loss of my tube.

The next step is either IUI with donor sperm into me, or IUI with his sperm into my extremely generous sister who is willing to be a surrogate AND egg donor if I’m the carrier of the issues.

But will miscarriage tissue testing help us determine which is the best course? If the issues are chromosomal there’s no point in IVF, or not much, because of the extensive screening and continued risk. If one of us is the issue will miscarriage tissue testing get us the answer?
