New to IUI

Hello,

I just found out yesterday that my next step in my infertility journey will be doing an IUI assisted with Letrozole and trigger shot. I am currently getting some vaccines that I need and after that it’s go time. I’m nervous and devastated this isn’t happening as fast as I would of liked it to. I was also diagnosed with PCOS yesterday after being misdiagnosed with Endometriosis for 4 years now. I’m getting answers but now that I know what is really wrong I feel a sense of relief and feel validated that I knew something wasn’t right. We have never done medicated cycles only timed baby dancing and opk’s but after a couple months my body stopped ovulating on its own. My husband was told he has low morphology in his sperm and was put on vitamins, so timed conception has only a 1% chance of working for us and would be a miracle if it worked. Has anyone’s doctor recommended them going straight into medicated IUI with trigger shot and ultrasounds their first time?
