Troubles trying to get pregnant

Hi all! I got off the pill late June / early July, and my husband and I have been trying to have a baby. My period has always been irregular, and still are. I was on Nexplanon before I was taking the pill. I had it for a year and a half almost. I was only taking the pill for maybe a month before we decided we would start trying. We’d always try to do it when this app said I was ovulating because I didn’t get any ovulation tests. Even though, I know getting pregnant won’t happen at a snap of a finger, I just keep getting disappointed that nothings happening. I’m at a loss on what to do and what to try. Any tips or advice, no matter what it is, would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Side note: once the first of the year hits, I’ll finally be getting my husband and I on health insurance and our first plan is to see if we are both fertile
