How did you take clomid??

Hello ladies, 
 How did you take clomid??? Cycle 3-7, 5-9, 5-14… etc? How many MG Did you take? 25? 50? 100? And how long did it take you to successfully get pregnant??? I’ve been ttc for 3 years and we start clomid on CD 5… really hoping here, thank you! ☺️

This is my first cycle trying with Clomid. I took it days 5-9, and I think it was 50mg. I normally ovulate on my own, so my OB thought this could give me a little boost. 
I ovulate this week, so fingers crossed. 🤞🏼

The medication is only to assist with ovulation, actually getting pregnant is another story! I’m on my 16th medicated cycle. I’ve done Clomid & Femara, all MG, different days. Different days can help with egg quality and quantity. I’ve ovulated every round, no pregnancy. Do you normally ovulate on your own?
