Will my baby keep sucking if she’s not getting any more milk??

Question

Ever time I pump I get about 1oz to 1/2oz difference from one Brest to the other….is this normal. Will my baby run out of milk on that side also will she keep sucking if she runs out of milk??  Thanks

Your breast will never completely empty or run out if you breastfeed. Your body continously produce milk and then stores it until baby feeds. If he's eaten and your breast are soft and he's suckling slows, he's probably comfort feeding then. Using you as a paci. My son does that and I have pulled him off a few times just to check. Lol.. So if your not sure, just pull him off and squeeze.

Slacker boob is normal. Baby will get all the milk they need but will also do a different suckle to use you as a pacifier. Completely normal.
