Rash on face after waking, fades quickly 6 month old

Yesterday after a car seat nap and this morning I noticed red bumps on baby’s face and top of head, nowhere else. Little raised bump in the middle.

They fade significantly within an hour.

They don’t seem to bother him. No fever.

Anyone had this? (Doctor said pictures aren’t enough but if I take him in I can’t know for sure if

he’ll even have them at the time of the appt) 🙄

He had a mosquito bite or two a day before this started, could it be related?

We are also exploring solids but nothing new yesterday.

History: Baby had a bunch of little red bumps with small raised bumps in the middle all over his body as a newborn, doc said it was normal and painless.
