Is it bad to give an expecting mother stretch mark cream? ( I got a set, stretch mark lotion, massage cream, belly butter and hydration oil )

U need to really get to know the person. I won’t get offended, I will love actually the idea some friend give me something like that. Some people ( you can see already) get offended. Stretch marks doesn’t mean only FAT!!!! so many artists , athletes and models has stretch marks. It’s just the type of skin you have. Some people can get it very easy, some others doesn’t even get one. That will help prevent it. But 🤷🏼‍♀️ you really need to know the person.

Why would that be bad? There’s a lot of women who wish they got that , they looking out for you so the next couple years you not like damn I shoulda used that cream my tummy got lines everywhere 
I would literally be happy as hell . Don’t make something from somebody being kind

I’d discourage it - there are some women who wholeheartedly embrace their stretch marks and some who are keen to use creams. Not worth the risk

Also.. most of the creams are for PREVENT stretch marks. I don’t think it’s any cream or treatment for erase stretch marks. I did have some treatments before, they are expensive and they don’t remove completely the stretch marks.

I would play it safe and won't give it as a present. Truth be told we are so vulnerable and emotional during pregnancy and the first few months after that anything small can trigger sadness or insecurity. If you like to store stuff, give a gift card. I feel that giving gift cards is underrated during this stage of life. I remember appreciating gift cards on my baby shower even more. It gives you the freedom to purchase the items you know you need or buy smth pretty and nice and don't break the bank.

I would do that with some other comfort things, not just saying hey you’re getting fat here or something to fix it. I would get her some slippers, or a back massager, an ice pack that goes across your eyes the gel kind, or a heating pad, or some bath bombs, or Fuzzy blankets, and just put a little note things to help your pregnancy come along he’s here. Because if it’s just stuff for stretch marks, I would feel like are you calling me fat, and then you could talk about what’s in the basket, I was given these things when I was pregnant, and they were very beneficial.￼
