Buy baby clothes etc before getting pregnant?

I went to a yard sale at a church & bought two huge bags of baby clothes for like $1. It was a mix between gender so really it's a hit and miss thing. lol

With my son I always got told not to buy anything till I was 6 months so I won't jinx anything

My hubby & I are TTC & tbh the only thing we need now is our rainbow baby! We decided since we are both working & have the money its makes sense to get things now. Our nursery is all bar complete & I have bought lots of unisex stuff on sale. (My brother did tell me to take the pram out if the house though, old wives tale???)

You could always get gender neutral stuff but I wouldn't buy anything until you're at least pregnant and 12+ weeks.

No because you have no idea what you'll have. 
​If I had done that, I would have had completely useless clothes because I wanted a girl && ended up with a boy. 
​I say wait until you're pregnant & you find out what you're having before buying any clothes.
