Thank God for Generosity

This year has been hard for us financially. We had a home emergency situation that we ended up draining our savings around 35k. Then my mom got sick almost died a few times and is now paralyzed. In the middle of all of that our miracle baby was conceived and born (I have never ovulated without medication so imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant.) With the costs rising my husband is working more but we are not making ends meet.

I am terrified, we don't have any debt besides our home which is modest. We've always been able to help others now we can barely scrape by every month. We received a gift card for 100.00 dollars for groceries. I cried. What this means for our family is so much right now.

I was so embarrassed our babies were only getting dollar items this year like tooth brushes and coloring book and used books. I didn't know how I was going to bring food to gatherings much less feed my family.

We've always done everything right I just don't know how else to save. Health insurance alone was 15k this year and is going up next year. This gift card saved us. I know I'm going to pay forward someday. I'm just so embarrassed and so grateful.
