Clomid and Gonal F

Please share experiences if you have tried these meds together! I’ve been on 3 Letrozole cycles and while all my numbers looked great (lining 12mm, progesterone 20-30, 1-2 mature follicles) there was no pregnancy so my doctor said he would like to try a more “aggressive” treatment (mini stim) with Clomid 100mg and 2 Gonal F 75 injections. I’m freaking out a little because I tried Clomid through my OB a year and a half ago and I was not monitored properly! I had horrible side effects, developed large painful cysts, and it threw my cycle off for months! I’m terrified of taking Clomid again, but hope that with proper monitoring with my RE, maybe it could be different. Can anyone share experiences? Anything I should know before taking Gonal?
