I'm not sure what to do. My blood pressure has been high recently and I started getting a headache tonight. It's currently 3:05 am and I don't want to go to L&D triage because I was just there Friday and they sent me home. They said everything was okay and to see my ob when my appointment is. My appointment is on Thursday, do I wait til then or do something sooner. First timer

Firstly what’s high & are you taking it yourself at home, secondly how far along are you? Thirdly what other symptoms do you have, going to ED for a headache alone is a big no.

You’re awake at 3am. Might have something to do with having a headache 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know it can be hard to sleep. I take a bath almost every other night to unwind. It’s been amazing for my sleep! Good luck mama!

Just wait til your appt unless you have serious symptoms arise between now and then. Headaches are normal in pregnancy.

Call your doctor, they should have an on call nurse any time of the day or night for your questions. Depending on how high your pressure is and the severity of your symptoms they should be able to recommend a course of action for you.
