Pregnant after d&c

Had a missed miscarriage baby passed at 8 weeks 6days didn’t find out until 11 weeks was scheduled to have a d&c on December 2nd the early morning of my scheduled date I started to pass the baby in my own around midnight night had a d&c to finish because I had extremely having bleeding. 2 weeks later I’m complaining about pain I have a ultrasound and they say the think it may be small retained products about 1cm took misoprostol 2 days ago and nothing had happened no bleeding no pain nothing.. took a test 20 mins ago and it’s positive could it be because of what they seen?
