Single embryo FET turned into twins at 38
Hi all,
I had my first single embryo FET in dec after ttc for 2.5 years, I went through silent endo, genetic testings and era analysis. We have done a list of extensive test to ensure that my first FET would work. I am currently on intralipid infusion once a week and oil injection/suppository etc. I am now pregnant currently close to 6 weeks.
Today was my first scan and the dr told me that there are two sacs in there and he is concerned because I am already in the high risk bracket. I was first very excited but I could see his concerns and he basically said only 1-2% of a single embryo splits into two, this is very rare.
I am very worried now and feeling very emotional. I have not had a miscarriage before but I know theres a high tendency of it given my age. I am healthy in general and not had any major health issues in my entire life.
Anyone can share their experience here with me? I worked very hard for this to happen and I need some positive vibes please.
