Would the name Alba offend you?

We are considering the name but it translates to ‘white’. Do you think this would offend anyone? I know it’s just a color but don’t want it to come across racist or anything

It also means Scotland, Sunrise, or Dawn. Also unless anyone looks it up or knows Latin I highly doubt anyone would be offended. I’m much more offended by the weird names like Periwinkle Apple Wetlands.

White isn’t a bad word or bad color... my son’s middle name means White/bright in Thai but we are black and Asian.

Blanche also means white and I've never heard of anyone being offended by that one so I think you are fine
