Low lying Placenta & spotting

So I found out at my 20 week scan that I have a low lying placenta (not quite placenta previa but low). I had spotting at 17, 20 (2 days after my scan) and this week at 21 weeks. I’ve already seen my obgyn who told me not to fly on our holiday planned for Christmas 😭 and she assured me that it will most likely resolve itself but she also said smaller bleeds can sometimes be precursors to a larger bleed.

Basically I’m asking for all your stories about low lying placentas, did they move higher for you or not. If they didn’t what did that result in happening?

This is my second child and I did not have this issue with my first so I need all the details both good and bad!
