Any tips or advice? TTC after first miscarriage

Can you please give me any tips. I just found out I’m having a miscarriage. The APRN at the hospital said I could potentially bleed up to 6 weeks. How long after your miscarriage were you fertile again? I’m at a total loss. I don’t know what my next steps are. I was 5 weeks and today we found out my levels are dropping then soon after the bleeding started to pick up. 🥺 an ultrasound confirmed a miscarriage.

I was five weeks and a few days when I had my early miscarriage. I only bled for maybe 6 days, the first three were the heaviest and then it decreased significantly. I conceived again two weeks after the bleeding stopped...currently 33 weeks.
There is some research out there that suggests you are actually slightly more fertile the first three months following an early miscarriage.

I’ve had 2 miscarriages at 5 weeks, bled only a little longer than a period each time then fell pregnant the next cycle. First time was my daughter and now I’m 21 weeks with 2nd baby. It’s not a nice thing to go through and I’m sorry for your loss. My GP said we could start trying again as soon as the bleeding had stopped and I felt mentally ready. I tracked the next cycle with OPKs and BBT and found I ovulated a little later than a normal cycle but luckily conceived again both times.

I was further along so mine was (hopefully) different than yours will be. I bled for 4-5 days but my levels didn’t drop all the way down for a couple of months due to retained tissue. I ovulated soon after they dropped. However I didn’t conceive again until a year and a half later
