At a loss..

I'm not sure what to do. A few days ago I was having sharp pain in my lower left abdomen it was also accompanied by bleeding moderately(hasn't been heavy since I started bleeding almost a week ago). I passed some tissue and some other small clots. I'm supposed to be 6 weeks and like 2 days now the bleeding has decreased significantly but I'm still having discomfort on my left side and I don't want to go to the ER again because my doctor had her nurse tell me that I shouldn't go to the er unless I'm hemmoriging. So can someone tell me what they think is wrong because I'm going crazy googling stuff and from what I've read it might be ectopic. My hcg levels have also been on the low side.
