Sex while pregnant

My husband is terrified that he will hurt the baby if we have sex. He says it's weird and awkward. He will do/ take almost anything else....just not intercourse. I have told him that he can't hurt the baby and nothing will happen. I pushed him into finally having intercourse but it he still couldn't "go". Even after pulling out and using other methods it took a while. Anyone else dealing with a husband who thinks the baby makes sex scary/weird? It is so frustrating...I long for the intimacy. It's been too long!!! I can't go 6 more months like this....and lord knows men can't!! Hahah! Does this get better?
