Is my baby still getting benefits from breast milk if I have to feed 1/2 BM 1/2 formula bottles?

I have low supply and can only pump out 2oz every 3 hours. Babe is 3 months and takes 4oz every 3 hours. 2oz BM 2oz formula. Is he still getting benefits of the nutrients in BM? I feel shitty for having to supplement :(

It’s not all or nothing!!! As soon as I was able to really absorb that idea, I was able to feel a lot less guilt about supplementing. You’re doing great, mama ♥️

I’ve heard the slightest amount is beneficial. Whatever way you choose to feed baby is perfectly fine! Breastmilk is great, but so is formula! ❤️

You are doing great! I had to do something similar, but instead of mixing I'd do a full BM bottle or Formula. Or feed the BM and then a supplemental formula bottle if needed. Just to make sure I wasn't throwing any out.
