Am I being punished?

We conceived 4 years ago but we werent ready to have a child. I ended up having the abortion pill. Now we are trying to conceive and we have been trying for a year, nothing is happening. My doctor doesn't seem concerned and said I need to relax and enjoy it. I'm not sure why it's not happening and I have always regretted the abortion (even before ttc). I would appreciate any advice. Please don't leave mean comments. I already feel horrible

That's not how God operates. It sometimes takes time. There are women who have had more than 5 abortions and keep getting pregnant, so if God was handing out infertility for abortions be they would have been #1 on the list

Thank you ladies! I'm a completely different person then I was 4 years ago and I'm so ready to be a mom and a damn good one! The last time I saw my doctor was in August for my yearly so we weren't quiete at the year mark yet. I think after the holidays I will go back. She tested my egg quality and quantity though and everything came back good. I also get positive opks and I have normal cycles.

Idk if you are religious at all, but when I was TTC I was extra paranoid and thought of every bad thing I did when I was younger and worried I would be punished as well. I went to church and prayed a lot, went by myself and just got everything off my chest. It really helped me feel better and I'm now almost 16 weeks. Best of luck! We all make mistakes

Look my mom had one when I was young. Her husband at the time was abusive and threatened to kill her and my little brother and myself. She bland her ina ability to have another on that. We found out five years ago it's because she has a few things wrong with her uterus. And my aunt tried for ten years and now has two sweet boys . Don't give up it will happen

I wouldn't say you're being punished. That being said abortion can have an affect on fertility. Talk to your doctor.
