What would you do?

Few weeks ago, my brother in law got covid and quarantine himself in his room. Me and my husband got the cold right now and now my mil is coughing too and she is claiming she got covid. She thinks me and my husband have covid but we only have the cold. My husband test won't come back until tomorrow. Mind you she favors my brother in law only. Because when he was sick, she wasn't sick. But everytime we are sick she will get sick and say she got covid. Is this hatred?
