induced labor

my best friend was induced last night at 36w and 5d because she has preeclampsia, a small kidney stone from the preeclampsia, a uti, yeast infection, a bladder infection, she's now anemic, and has group b strep (this poor woman), well it's now 1:30pm and she still isn't dilated, she said she was having some contractions but then they stopped. if you were induced or know someone who was, how long did it take for actual labor to set in and for you to give birth?
