Inlaws don't like the name..

We found out Monday we are having Boy/Girl twins. As soon as we found out we were having twins my husband and I decided we didn't want their names to be too matchy matchy. We landed on Kieran and Elaina and we both are super in love with them and our last name is really hard to match names with! My MIL privately told my husband she absolutely hates the name Kieran and my FIL said there is no way his grandson will be called that. My husband basically told them we don't really care what they thought its our child, but I'm really frustrated they would say anything at all! Especially to say they hate it. Has anyone's Inlaws not liked a name you picked but it eventually grew on them?
