Why do people have pet lions/tigers??

I'm seeing tons of videos of people abroad having pet lions and tigers etc, just why! No matter how trained these animals are, you can't take away their natural habitats or instincts. This is a wasted post but it frightens the shit out of me how comfortable people are 😅 I'll stick to my pet fish lool

Even though i believe that not being fearful of exotic animals is great I also believe having them as pets is wrong. Maybe even a symptom of god-complex. When I hear stories about innocent bystanders being attacked by people's pet Chimpanzees and Tigers it makes me so angry. Or peoples pet lions escaping. It is so selfish.

Tbh idc what happens to the idiots who try and have wild animals as pets. They deserve whatever they get. Animals are not here for our entertainment, and wild animals are not pets. They can never be happy as a pet l. It’s disgusting. I hope every single lion, tiger, etc. that’s a “pet” eats its owner 🤷🏽
