When are you supposed to put Christmas tree away?

I was told it was bad luck to take down before New Years and I also was told ,it wasn't true.

I always make a little party of taking it down on New Year’s Day. We have some champagne, put everything away, and write our goals for the new year

In college I lived in a 7 bedroom home with 11 people and few strays here and there. We had our Christmas tree up for 3.5 years straight. No one wanted to put it away, we kept it, visitors were always disturbed by it mid summer. It made us all laugh, if you ask me, never is a good option too. Keep the Christmas joy alive! 💕

12 days after, but I've already taken all my stuff down this year so I can enter the fresh new year with a fresh clean home 🙌

I’ve always heard 12 days before Christmas it goes up and goes down 12 days after Christmas.  But I put mine up the last day over November and will be coming down the 3/4th Jan ready for my sons birthday on the 5th. So really it’s when ever you want.
