Hey ladies pregnancy questions

I am no where near getting pregnant but I’m still curious about the talk having to do with giving birth. Yknow like “natural birth is better” or “using meds that help with the pain can cause problems” how much of that is true?? I want to be informed and what better way to do that than by asking the very ones who have given birth :D

Is natural birth better? What’s an epidural and does it cause problems in any way? What’s the best way to give birth? Will there be any consequences if I use pain meds/ stuff to make giving birth less excruciating? And…why do women choose to give natural birth? It seems like hell to me😅
