Apri birth control

So was wonderingif anyone else had any issues with this birth control I recently quit taking it for a week and never started my period and now it's been two weeks and I still haven't taken I haven't gotten my. I have taken for pregnancy test and off or have said that they are negative but I'm a little confused as to why haven't started my period when I've been always regular I know some birth controls can mess with your cycle but I've been on birth control for years and never haven't had breakthrough bleeding after missing a couple pills and especially not as long as two weeks!  Anyone else have this issue before?
