Getting vaccine after birth?

How long have people waited after giving birth to get the covid vaccine? 
I’ve been waiting till I’ve given birth to get it, my own choice. But with the current situation in Australia I’m wanting to get it as soon as possible but wanted to get other’s opinion. And I will obviously speak with my gp about this during my next visit.

I got my first dose at 3 weeks pp. I asked my OB if it was ok and he said yes!

I got mine 3 days post partum on the day I was discharged from the hospital after a c-section.  I completely isolated myself leading up to the birth to reduce risk of getting covid before I delivered.

The L&D nurses recommended i wait the 6 weeks until my bleeding stopped due to the risk of clots
