Prevent UTI’s
I’m 23 years old and I just had my first ever uti two months ago. It was excruciating! I couldn’t relax because the burning was constant and I was peeing blood.
After that first one ever, I started taking daily cranberry pills to prevent that because I never wanted to go through that again. Well, I developed another one this morning. Not nearly as bad as the first one but still very uncomfortable.
My question is, how can I prevent getting them? I’ve always been precautious because my sister got them a lot while we were growing up and I knew I never wanted one. I ALWAYS pee after sex, wipe front to back and wipe really well when I pee, don’t hold my pee too long, don’t soak in tubs very often, etc etc. things my sisters dr told her.
I haven’t changed anything and now I’ve gotten two within two months.
Please tell me how to prevent these because I am absolutely miserable lol
Thank you!
