Swollen lymph node???

A week ago a noticed a skin tag on my neck, right side, and i applied Apple cider vinegar with a cotton ball and left it over night. I did that for 2 or 3 days and i noticed it burned my skin. Days later i noticed a small lump in the same side of my neck a bit close to the hairline. The lump is not visible but i can feel it. Could it be a swollen lymph node because of my skin burn? I know nobody here is a doctor but will appreciate your experiences. I will go to the doctor if the lump doesn’t go away in two weeks. Thanks
