Covid but no symptoms?

Everytime my son & I have had covid, we just get a runny nose. No headaches, fever, no coughing, nothing but a runny nose. My bf whom I live with on the other hand gets sick with covid really bad. Basically gets every symptom. Thankful but I'm just curious as to why we don't get that sick? I haven't ever went to get tested but he has & got tested positive for the second time in about a year. So I just think if he has it then obviously we do but as I said we don't get sick besides a runny nose?

You got lucky. That’s it. As with many illnesses, there’s no way to know how bad it’s going to be for you, or others.

My partner had it but my baby and I didn’t catch it whilst in the same house. If you haven’t tested then you can’t assume you’ve had it as well.

Genetics possibly. Everyone’s immune system responds differently. Covid for me was just like a bad sinus infection (I had 7 sinus infections last year, nothing [personally] could be worse than those reoccurring, other than child birth lol😩 )

I almost died from fever alone two weeks ago (106.7) my bf was just as sick as me but temp was highest at 103.4 both him and I are still really sore in our body and fatigued (still two weeks later) our 5 kids though.. mild fever for less than 24 hours and perfectly fine 3-5 days later like nothing happened.. 🤷 just count your blessings
