Smoothies for weight loss?
I’m pregnant right now so clearly not trying to lose weight- but I am trying to gain a healthy amount this pregnancy without being careless with the amount I gain. So two questions Mamas!
1. ) Are smoothies a good choice for say breakfast or a snack while pregnant? Just a simple homemade one, almond milk, berries, etc.
2.) Postpartum- will smoothies be a good occasional meal replacer to loose baby weight?! Maybe if I add in more than just berries and almond milk? Or even have one with a protein bar or something like that?
I’m aware I may sound completely silly. This is my third pregnancy and completely unexpected. I was done with having babies and one main reason being so self conscious and unhappy with my body. I’m not overweight. In 5’5 weighing 140 at 3 months pregnant. I just can’t help but compare to others and want to change so much. This pregnancy is taking a big mental toll on me. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful for this pregnancy, it’s just taking a lot to accept so far. Big thank you to those that take the time to read this & offer any help 🥺🤍
